Should Harrison have been ejected?? |
|
|
For this?
I heard he got ticked because this safety went for his knees right before this
incident. James did get a 15 yard penalty on this play.
Some people are saying he should have been ejected and it may have cost him a
Superbowl MVP.

When he was pounding on him, it was definately a personal foul. When the guy
got up and he pushed him down, it was just football. He looked like a thug,
but I don't think he should have been ejected.

That would be enough for an ejection under normal circumstances I would think,
considering the length he took it to.

He got the personal foul, and I imagine the NFL will fine him. That's all at
should'a been done.

I guess it depends on how many ghetto punk-ass tactics the NFL is willing to
tolerate. Franciso should have sold it and just laid there. A shove is no big
deal, but Harrison was throwing a punch and the rules call for an immediate
ejection.
Just another fuck up from a long list from Terry McCauly's shithead crew...

Definitely on the ejection. I can't believe he got away with that for only a
15 yard penalty, considering some of the Mickey Mouse personal fouls they
called on Arizona.

...but that's just steelerfan's "unbiased" opinion.

I am sorry. It did not look that bad to me. We are talking about football
right?
It is a live play. Its a punt return. He took care of his man. He punished
him.

The line's been drawn. You throw a punch, you get tossed. Harrison can claim
it was justified all he wants, but the original video proves him wrong.
Franciso was coming at him high and Harrison pushed him low.
It's NFL football, not backyard jungle ball. There shouldn't be varying
degrees of rule enforcement...

Really? I watched the video and at the 1:09 mark it shows him coming low.
Harrison then keeps him low and the shoves him off his feet. Was he over
the line? The refs thought so and he was flagged. Should he have been
ejected??? I think thats laughable.
